SBC10

SBC10 (Stuart Adamson), started producing Drum and Bass back in the mid to late 90's.
Forming Calibre with Dominick Martin, their first release was on the Dublin label, Quadraphonic. They also played numerous live gigs at The Art College (Belfast), Bassbin (Dublin) and various music festivals across Ireland.
He then produced a more hard edged take on DnB with Reload under the moniker of Cappo Regime. Belfast based they produced and played live alongside some of the main players and drum and bass nights of the time, including DJs , Judge Dredd, Kato and MC Digiac to name but a few at their popular series of nights including Flava, Drumology and Solid. During this time they supported the likes of Goldie , Scratch Perverts and Simon Bassline Smith, playing some of the bigger venues in Belfast including Shine @ QUB. They also met Chill at this time, playing at his very successful Step DnB nights.
SBC10 has returned to producing Drum and Bass after a 20+ year break, embracing the modern DAW and music production technology and adapting his previous workflow to this new digital landscape. Knocking out a number of bass heavy tracks with his trademark tough, rolling drums alongside some lighter liquid style rollers.
Producing as SBC10, he also works regularly with Reload and together with JWL set up the Cyphersound Cartel project as a means of focussing on developing their own sound and production techniques, whilst also working alongside other local Drum and Bass producers in Northern Ireland in order to promote the NI Drum and Bass sound wherever possible.
Working alongside likeminded, inclusive local producers such as Chill, Dlusion, Red Wreath and Swizzy, his aim is to draw attention to the talent of these underground drum and bass producers and push the scene in Northern Ireland to the next level...
